Untimely Death in Lebanon

Wednesday night, Lebanon Police responded to a call in a parking lot on Etna Road where they found an unconscious adult male in his car. Officials say the man was determined dead and are investigating the case as an untimely death.

The man’s identity and cause of death have not been revealed as of yet and YCN will bring you these details as they emerge.

This untimely death comes in the wake of a very similar incident in Brattleboro last week on Monday where 35-year old Sultan Rashed was found dead in his car. Rashed was found with a single gunshot wound to the head and death was initially treated as a suicide.

His death was later deemed to have been a homicide and on Friday night, police arrested 39-year old Leonard Moffat who pleaded not guilty to homicide earlier this week. The murder appears to have been from an outstanding drug debt.
