Claremont’s Stevens High School is looking for parents to be part of a committee that will prepare for an evaluation of the school. The evaluation is being completed by NEASC, the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, which put Stevens on probation for the last two years for not having fulfilled curriculum and program needs of students. However, after having completed renovations recently, the school was informed by the NEASC that they had been lifted from probation.
The upcoming evaluation visit is part of the regular cycle and Stevens officials are asking parents to volunteer to be part of a committee to prove that the removal from the probation was worthwhile.
If you are a parents of a Stevens student that would like to be part of the committee, you can contact the school at (603)-543-4220. The evaluation is being done in October of next year.
