Welcome to Yankee Chronicle. I’m your host Abby Peel. Today we are back here at the New London Barn Playhouse where you can experience an intimate, air-conditioned setting with no seat more than 30 feet from the stage . Today I’ll be joined by Elliott Cunningham, the managing director, to hear about this year’s NEST production and the barn’s help in developing new shows. Katie Paine of Bar Harbor Bank will join me to talk about their mission to support the communities and programs that are important to all of us. We’ll be back in the field at the Kearsarge Neighborhood Partner’s Volunteer Appreciation Celebration to hear what’s in it for those that choose to help. And I’ll close “On the Porch” with Ty Simons the Barn’s new Director of Education to hear of his plans.
