Claremont City Councilor Lovett Speaks on Rail Line Improvements

CLAREMONT – Getting to other parts of the country and even out of this country, like Canada, may eventually be much easier for residents from our area, especially Claremont. The Northern New England Intercity Rail Initiative or NEIRI, held their final public hearing on their study to look at improving train travel all across our region.

Tuesday, YCN News spoke to city councilor Charlene Lovett about NEIRI as she explains the process and what to expect from it.

Now on October 9th, a ribbon cutting event for a new waiting pavilion at the Claremont Junction will be held. YCN News will bring you more on that event when it occurs so stay tuned.
