Untimely Death of Hartland Baby Under Investigation

We begin tonight with a developing story involving the untimely death of a 5-month-old baby from Hartland, Vermont. According to a press release issued by the Vermont State Police, the infant – identified as Wyatt Morrill – was found unresponsive in a South Royalton home early Sunday morning.

South Royalton Rescue began resuscitation efforts once on the scene, and transported the infant to nearby Gifford Hospital where he was later pronounced dead at approximately 3 a.m.

The South Royalton home belongs to the infant’s uncle – Randy Morrill, and his girlfriend Autumn Pearson. The infant’s parents were identified as Kristi Bonnell and Timothy Morrill, both of Hartland. State Police say the investigation remains ongoing pending the results of an autopsy.
