NASCAR will be returning to the Granite State this weekend with Sunday’s Sylvania 300, so let this story be a reminder to leave the racing to the pros.
A Claremont, New Hampshire man was arrested over the weekend after police clocked him driving at more than 100-mph on Interstate 91.
According to a press release, 20-year-old Justin Boudro was clocked traveling 117-mph on the highway shortly after 5:30 Saturday evening near mile-marker 26 in Westminster. Vermont State Police arrested Boudro for excessive speed, and also found during their investigation that he had been consuming alcohol earlier in the evening.
Boudro was well under the state’s legal blood-alcohol limit at .016 percent, though he was issued a citation for underage drinking. Boudro is scheduled to be arraigned in Windham County Court on October 27.
