A 25-year-old Claremont woman was indicted by a second Grand Jury late last week. This after she had previously been indicted on three drug-related felony charges just last month. Amber Ford was indicted by a Hillsboro County North Grand Jury on one count of human trafficking, weeks after a Sullivan County Grand Jury indicted her on charges of crack cocaine and heroin sales.
Ford was charged in conjunction with 36-year-old Nathaniel Clark of Hillsboro, who was charged with nine counts of human trafficking for forcing three people to engage in sexual activity in April and May of this year.
Ford was also indicted on felony theft charged for stealing items valued at more than $1,000 from Macy’s.
