Top Five Girls Lacrosse Plays from Spring 2016

Today we’ll be showing you the YCN top five girls lacrosse plays from this past Spring.

First up is selection number 5. Down by a goal with under 30 seconds left to play during the division two state championship game, Hanover’s Perrin Milliken was able to scoop up a rebounded shot and immediately score as she put the ball in the back of Portsmouth’s net to tie the game and keep Hanover’s championship dream alive with literally 2.7 seconds left in regulation.

Next is the fourth pick. Hanover’s Maddie Lyons was able to sprint down the field, again during the division two championship game, as she was able to score an unassisted goal to cut opponent Portsmouths lead to 1.

Now to number 3. Laconia’s Helen Tautkus was able to score 7 times against a strong Kearsarge team during the division three championship matchup.

Next is the second pick. Kearsarge’s Eleanor Angus was able to score 4 goals and 4 assists for her team during the division three finals.

And finally the number one pick. This play was chosen for the high pressure situation as Hanover’s Molly Seibel was able to draw a foul during overtime of the division two championship game. She would bounce her free shot scoring against Portsmouth to cap a dramatic championship finish.
