A developing story out of New London, New Hampshire as a fire at a single-family home Sunday night led to at least one firefighter being taken to the hospital for treatment.
Crews from the New London Fire Department were alerted of a structure fire on Squires Lane shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday night, and upon arrival, found flames coming from a first-floor bedroom.
Crews had the fire under control by midnight, and no other injuries were reported. Authorities have said they believe the fire was caused by smoking materials disposed of improperly.
Officials have not released the identity of the injured firefighter, nor was an update on their condition available as of broadcast time Monday.
