Sunapee Toy Store Reopens in New Location

In Sunapee, a local store is getting a second lease on life in an all new location.

Tattered Pages, a toy store, owned by Brenda Huff has reopened at its new location on Lower Main Street in Sunapee across from the Sunapee Middle High School. The store was originally located in Sunapee Harbor but closed a few years ago due to slow business during the winter months and a space that was to large.

The building that the toy store now occupies used to be a general store in the late 1800’s, later becoming a department store, a hardware store, and a general store with a and diner as time progressed.

One particular counter that was used by many of the previous owners is now being used by Brenda Huff in her new store, keeping its historic significance alive.

Tattered Pages offers books, games, toys, dress up costumes, and many educational toys for young and old alike. Winter hours at the store are from 10am to 5pm Wednesday through Saturday.
