A 48-year-old Lebanon man was arrested Thursday on charges of reckless conduct and criminal mischief after police say he shot a gun in his Parkhurst Street apartment. According to a press release, Lebanon Police responded to an area on Hanover Street at approximately 6:30 p.m. after reports of shots fired.
Once on the scene, officers determined the shots were fired by Andrew Griffon at his adjacent apartment building on Parkhurst Street. Griffon was found in possession of a firearm, and subsequently charged for the offense.
Police say a water leak in an adjoining apartment was caused when shots broke through a toilet, though nobody was inside that unit at the time of the incident.
Griffon is being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections on $25,000 bail pending his arraignment.
It should be noted that Nov. 19 was deemed “World Toilet Day” by the United Nations back in 2013.
