Colby-Sawyer College Being Sued by Nursing Students

Colby-Sawyer College is being sued by three students from surrounding states who are part of the nursing program. The students failed a course that was overbooked, claiming it was an intentional move by the college to reduce the number of nursing students.

The students are from Maine, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island and were part of a summer course where a clinical practice was required to complete their program. Meanwhile, the college has argued that the students were treated with fair grading and judgment and helped them try to succeed.

The women’s lawsuits were filed in their home states in August and want a judge to remove their failing grades from the school’s records.
