“Yankee Chronicle” 8/26/26 presented by Lake Sunapee Protective Association
Welcome to Yankee Chronicle. I’m your host Abby Peel. This is our second week at the Lake Sunapee Protective Association where preserving lakes and watersheds, through education, research and collaborative action has been their task for over five generations. Today we’ll go on location to Georges Mills and visit a LSPA project to mitigate the erosion and runoff at the harbor beach. Wilmot Police Chief Duncan Domey will invite us to a 9/11 memorial and learn why this remembrance is personal for him. The crew from Abbott Library here in Sunapee will give us a rundown of activities they have planned for September. And we’ll close across the street with a story about the Livery rebroadcast from 2021.
