“Yankee Chronicle” 8/5/26 presented by NH Craftsmen’s Fair

Welcome to Yankee Chronicle. This is our second week being presented by the ninety third annual NH League of Craftsmen’s Fair at Mount Sunapee Resort. The annual fair began in nineteen thirty three and runs for nine days each year, featuring the juried work of hundreds of members with sales booths, interactive demonstrations, and curated exhibitions attracting over twenty thousand visitors annually. I’m your host Abby Peel. This week we’ll meet Zack Jonas, the chairman of the board of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen and a crafts person himself. We’ll visit a group of women artists that have been juried into the league and are showing here this year. We’ll meet another group that calls Mount Sunapee home, the New England Healing Sports Association. We’ll get a quick update on the corn harvest at Spring Ledge Farm. And we’ll close with Rick Stockwell with a wrap on this year’s Arts in Sunapee Harbor.
