“Yankee Chronicle” 8/7/25 presented by The League of NH Craftsmen’s 2025 FAIR

Welcome to Yankee Chronicle. This is our second week being presented by the ninety second annual Craftsmen’s Fair at Mount Sunapee Resort. The annual fair began in nineteen thirty three and runs for nine days each year, featuring the juried work of hundreds of members with sales booths, interactive demonstrations, and curated exhibitions attracting over twenty thousand visitors annually. I’m your host Elizabeth D’Orazio. This week we’ll meet Joyce LeBlanc, a fiber and wearables craftsman showing at this year’s fair. We’ll get another short documentary on craftsman Lulu Fichter. We’ll do a short paddle around Little Lake Sunapee with Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust. And we’ll close with a visit with Chris Archer, another craftsman showing at this year’s fair.
