“Yankee Chronicle” 8/15/24 presented by Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice
Welcome to the Yankee Chronicle. For the next 2 weeks, our show is presented by the Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice as they are celebrating 20 years of their Renaissance Shoppe where items are donated by community members and are in turn resold, with profits going directly back to the vital home care, hospice and community health programs provided by Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice. I’m Abby Peel, your host. Cathy Raymond will join me to tell us about the mission of this asset in their efforts to provide healthcare services to everyone. Kate Nobili will preview this year’s edition of the Apple Pie contest and crafts fair supporting the Newport’s Library Arts Center. Gram Gifford from the Telephone Museum and Andy Bullock from the Indian Museum will tell us about a collaborative event on the Code Talkers. Tim Blagden will bring us up to speed on developments on the Concord to Lake Sunapee Rail Trail. And our Laura James will visit with the Refinery Restaurants owner Brian McKenzie.
