“Yankee Chronicle” 8/1/24 presented by 2024 NH Craftsmen’s Fair

Welcome to the Yankee Chronicle. For the next two weeks, our show is presented by The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen as they celebrate their ninety first Craftsmen’s Fair at Mount Sunapee Resort. On today’s show I’ll visit Mariam Carter the Executive Director of the league at their Capital City headquarters to hear the history and what is in store at this year’s event. We’ll get a snapshot of Peter Maynard who will be hosting a demo booth at this year’s fair. He has been designing and building furniture for collectors nationwide. Mike Gibeault will invite you to a special Make-A-Wish event in Sunapee Harbor. We’ll meet the owner of the “new” SooNipi Blueberry Farm in New London. Sara Lenau from Mount Sunapee Resort will give us a rundown for Summer at the mountain and tell us why they support our Hospital Days. And we’ll close with our Elizabeth D’Oraza inviting you to Fit for a cause.
