Welcome to the Yankee Chronicle. For the next two weeks, our show is presented by the Kearsarge Regional School District serving Bradford, Newbury, New London, Sutton, Springfield, Warner, and Wilmot. The total seven town population equals approximately 14,000 and serves around 1700 students. I’m Laura James, your host. Today we’ll hear the Word of the Year, Start of the School Year, Hiring, Bus Situation, and Priorities for the upcoming year from Superintendent Winfried Feneberg. We’ll visit the old Sutton School House now being renovated. Ben Barton of Barton Insurance Agency will review some considerations if you have a property that is used for short term rentals and more. And we’ll close with Lisa Scolaro the Principal at Sutton Elementary introducing plans for Sutton Central and the district curriculum.
