Pleasant Street Welcoming Yet Another New Business

A new business is set to open up in May that will feature food grown and raised within 100 miles of Claremont. Aptly named, 100 Mile Market is scheduled to open on May 7th at 35 Pleasant Street. The store will be run by April Woodman, who worked as administrative assistant to the SAU 6 superintendent for 14 years.

Woodman is a fourth generation Claremont resident and said that the store is the result of two years of planning and research into consumer demand in the area. The store will sell in-house made bread and rolls as well as meats, dairy products, canned and frozen products, as well as an herbal apothecary and wall for growing natural herbs.

Woodman hopes to sell a wide variety of meats and other locally-sourced merchandise.
