Reward Issued for Suspect in Ludlow Bank Robbery

A follow-up on a story we first brought you Tuesday night as the U.S. Marshals Service has issued a reward for information leading to the arrest of a Weathersfield man accused of robbing a Ludlow Credit Union earlier this week.

According to a press release posted on the U.S. Marshall’s website, authorities are offering up $5,000 dollars for help in their efforts to locate 31-year-old Matthew Martin, who was identified using surveillance footage as the lone suspect in Monday’s robbery at the Heritage Family Credit Union.

Martin – who is also accused of robbing a TD Bank in Loudon, N.H., as well as the Mascoma Savings Bank in nearby Charlestown earlier this month – made away with an undisclosed amount of cash after threatening a teller with a black handgun shortly before 4 o’clock Monday afternoon.
