A story that any viewers of our show The Kearsarge Chronicle will definitely be familiar with. Jack and Julie McCarthy, of North Sutton, run the Dismas Home New Hampshire, which offers support to the formerly incarcerated, is soon opening a home in Manchester to help women readjust into society.
The Dismas model has been used extensively in surrounding states, offering a safe haven for release prison inmates as they re-assimilate. Let’s hear from Jack and Julie on the significance of the Dismas Home and how it will positively affect the lives of so many in our state that are often overlooked.
