Sunapee Promotes Giving Back to Community

Residents can get into the holiday spirit and give back to the community with help from the from.

The Toys for Joy Giving Tree that is now on display in the entryway of the Sunapee Town Office Building is the key to doing so. The Christmas tree is decorated with lights and gift tags that have names of toys, clothing, and other items that children and senior citizens have wished for Christmas.

You can pick up a tag for yourself off of the tree between now and December 8th. Unwrapped gifts with the child or adult’s identification number on it should be drop off at the Sunapee Town Office on December 15.

Parents of the children receiving the gifts will pick up the presents and wrapping paper for the gifts on December 17.
