Newport Keeps Families Warm with Free Coat Giveaway

As we’re sure you’ve all noticed, temperatures are getting cooler and cooler out there as we head deeper into fall. But for those less fortunate families struggling to stay warm with winter approaching, the United Way of Sullivan County is always willing to lend a hand.

The organization held its 8th Annual Free Coat Giveaway Friday morning at the Newport Common in Newport, New Hampshire, and YCN News was there to ask United Way Executive Director Dawn Ranney about how this event was made possible.
