Newport Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography
NEWPORT – A Newport, New Hampshire man was arrested today on charges of possessing child pornography. Newport Police say 49-year-old Allen Langlois was arrested after a search warrant was executed at his 8 Roseland Road home.
According to a press release, police seized computers and storage devices during their search, and Langlois admitted to using the internet to access websites depicting children engaging in sexual activity.
He also said he had saved sexually explicit images of minors on his computer. Possessing child pornography is a class A Felony and carries a sentence of up to seven years in prison.
Langlois was released on $10,000 bail, and will be arraigned at the 5th Circuit-District Division Court in Newport on November 17.
Wasn’t he just recently raided and arrested again this time by the FBI for a Federal Indictment on the child porn charges?
