The sale of the Sunapee Livery building in Sunapee New Hampshire was a topic at Tuesday night’s selectboard meeting and the building was indeed sold for one dollar to Sunapee Harbor Riverway.
The sale was unanimously approved by the board and the deed for the historic Livery Building will go to Riverway for their approval. Previously, there had been two public hearings for residents’ input on the sale of the building. Sunapee Harbor Riverway was founded in 1992 and works to preserve the historic parts of Sunapee’s Harbor.
The Livery building will now be added to buildings under their protection which will be used as a facility to host musical performances.
