Bellows Falls Holding Grand Opening of New Playground

The Rockingham Parks and Recreation Department is set to celebrate the completion of a brand new playground Saturday with a grand-opening ceremony at 10 a.m. The park, located on 10 Playground Road in Bellows Falls, was dismantled 15 years ago after being deemed unsafe by the Parks and Rec Department, but was revitalized over the summer with help from state grants and funding from the Rockingham Selectboard.

The playground is designed for children between 2 and 12 years old, and was opened to the public on Tuesday.

The upgraded park features multiple swing sets, slides and monkey bars over a thick layer of woodchips.
