River Valley Community College will receive a grant for $150,000 in order to carry out building improvements to the former Lebanon College building that RVCC recently formally acquired. The grant is coming from the office of Governor Maggie Hassan in cooperation with Senator Jeanne Shaheen.
It’s part of the Northern Border Regional Commission in order to help foster economic and community development in the North Country. Six other New Hampshire projects will be receiving grants, including the Franconia Ski Club, the NH DOT, and another college, Plymouth State University.
River Valley Community College announced acquiring the Lebanon building last week and the grant will help convert the space and improve their presence in that part of the region.
