Welcome to Yankee Chronicle. I’m your host Abby Peel. Today we are back here at one of the 14 LaValley Building Supply locations with contractor & retail lumber yards including home centers; truss and wall panel fabrication; a world class paint and decorating center and one of the largest, most modern Eastern White Pine sawmills in New England. Today Bryan Huot will join me here to tell us about this new Design Center and how and why it came to be. We’ll hear about a gathering coming up at Kearsarge High School addressing the food needs in our region. Carly Bascom at the New England Healing Sports Association and friends will give us a peek at their program for women veterans. And we’ll close with a visit to the Preferred Building Systems and learn how offsite construction using modular methods and panelization is a fast and preferred way to build.
