The 1 and 5 Essex Hornets traveled to take on the 2 and 4 Rutland Raiders. This was Rutland’s homecoming game so the Raiders clearly wanted to get the win for the seniors and home crowd. Rutland was also hanging on to hopes of making the division 1 playoffs.
