Shoot Like a Girl

Karen Butler went on a camping trip and a friend introduced her to bow shooting. With that initial experience she realized that there were very few opportunities for girls and women to sample the same joy she felt that day. In 2008 she started “Shoot Like a Girl” which consists of a giant trailer that travels the country and introduces people to the excitement of shooting. If you traveled Route 11 through Newport this past August you may have seen their trailer. Let’s learn more of what they are about from their road crew.
