Wilmot Public Library celebrates NH Library of the Year Victory

Award winning children’s book author, David Elliott gave a short and highly entertaining presentation on the meaning and importance of libraries.  The Library Board was recognized as was the Friends group who also supplied delicious refreshments enjoyed by all.  President of the NH Library Trustees Association, Susan Gaudiello, was at the reception to present the award to Board Chair, Jackie Thompson. Gaudiello specifically mentioned the impressive letters of support and the cooperation of the Wilmot Selectboard with the Library in the opening of the Joyce Tawney Creative Lab earlier this summer.
