Weathersfield Police Investigate Bomb Threat at Local Gas Station

Police are investigating a possible bomb threat that took place at an Ascutney gas station. According to the Weatherfield Police Department Facebook page, a caller reported a man leaving the gas station and said their was a bomb in the bathroom around 4:15 on Saturday.

Weathersfield police department, as well as Vermont State police, state police bomb squad, and two local fire department respond to the Sunoco gas station on Route 131 and the eastbound lane was closed off for about two hours while the investigation took place. No suspicious materials or devices were located during the search of the gas station and employees were allowed back inside around 6PM.
