Claremont police are continue to investigate a pair of robbery that occurred hours apart Wednesday morning at the T-Bird Mini Mart and the Claremont Head Start Center.
Police first responded to the Charlestown Road gas station shortly after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning after a report of an alarm activation. Upon arrival, officers reported seeing a side glass entry door that had been smashed out according to a press release issued Thursday.
Police released several images of the suspect taken from surveillance footage, and said the man stole several cartons of cigarettes before leaving the store. Hours later, police were called to the Head Start Building on Kinney Place for another report of a burglary. Once again, officers reported signs of forcible entry, and said several of the building’s offices had been rummage through. Police say a small amount of cash may have been taken.
Anyone with information on either burglary is asked to contact the Claremont Police Department at (603) 542-9538.
