Boy Scout District Director Gives Insight on Mission, Goals

For over a hundred years, the Boy Scouts have been providing character building programs that are experiential, youth led, and fun for young men. YCN caught up with the Sunapee District Director, Jason Eborn at the Hidden Valley camp to tell us about their program, troop activities, and how kids can become involved.

The best part of the Boy Scouts is that it while they grow into responsible young men, they have fun, learn, and do things that give them a head start on adulthood. And if they have aspirations towards military service, YCN was told that an Eagle Scout automatically gets a bump to E-2 in the Army when they enter, giving them the rank of Private 2nd Class.
