Sunapee Group Filling Cargo Containers of Aid for Africa

When you turn on the news some nights and you see the living conditions and hardships in other countries, do you ever wish you could help? There are many different groups that aim to help those less fortunate and one local group is continuing their efforts to do so in Africa. Plus, they’ve got an event coming up this weekend. YCN caught up with Edward Kanu, founder of African International Mission Services in Sunapee, New Hampshire, to hear about his group.

The event is free to attend and Edward will be there to help answer any questions you may have about AIMS or their mission. It’s this Sunday, August 28th from 11 AM to 3 PM on Central Street across from the athletic fields. A cargo container is already packed full and will be shipped with donations collected at the event.
