Hanover Board Approves Cover Charges at Skinny Pancake

A semi-new restaurant in Hanover, the Skinny Pancake, has had their request approved to enact a cover charge for live music at their establishment. The Valley News says that the Hanover Zoning Board of Adjustment, after a previous dispute, has sided in favor of the Skinny Pancake to charge customers at the door for live music, for the cause of raising money for Vital Communities.

Previously, the Board had cancelled a concert when they found out that the restaurant was charging customers at the door.

However, the restaurant’s co-owner filed an appeal and just last week, the Zoning Board reversed their initial decision, this time unanimously approving the use of cover charges for this particular eatery.

Skinny Pancake is a crepe restaurant based out of Burlington, Vermont and the co-owner told the paper that the cover charge is not unique to its Hanover location.
