Driver Arrested for DUI in Lebanon Rollover Crash

In Lebanon, a rollover car crash Tuesday night has resulted in injuries and an arrest for DUI. Police say 19-year old Mykaela Simond of White River Junction, Vermont was driving at high speeds Tuesday night around 7:30pm when she flipped her car on Old Pine Cemetery Road. Also in the car was 23-year old Michael Taylor of Lebanon.

During the 911 call that alerted police about the crash, it was believed that a pedestrian was hit by a car but upon further investigation, it was determined that the driver and passenger were thrown from the car when it rolled over.

Both of the victims were transported to the hospital by the Lebanon Fire Department due to the serious bodily injuries sustained by each passenger.

Simond was arrested and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a felony and she will appear in the Lebanon District Division, NH Second Circuit Court on October 3rd.
