Chester Man Suffers Non-Life Threatening Injuries in Crash

It was a scary scene Sunday night in Springfield, Vermont as a man suffered non-life threatening injuries from a single vehicle crash. Springfield Police say that at around 9:30 PM, they responded to multiple calls regarding a single vehicle rollover that had occurred on Chester Road near the area of the Church of Christ.

An investigation revealed that 28-year old Travis Tyrrell of Chester, Vermont lost control of his 2015 Ford F150 and hit a ditch just west of the Church of Christ, causing the vehicle to go airborne and rolling over when it hit the ground again. It came to a rest back on its wheels and both Tyrrell and his passenger, an 18-year old male, were transported to Springfield Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Neither of the vehicle’s occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has information regarding it, you are urged to contact Officer Steven Neily of Springfield Police at 802-885-2113.
