Police say that 45-year old Brenda Barbour of Westminster, Vermont was arrested on Friday night after she pulled a gun on her ex-husband, telling him that she wanted to “blow his brains out.”

According to the man, he was leaving when Barbour approached him from behind and pushed a .22 caliber pistol up against the back his head, saying she was going to kill him. He ran away and reported the incident to Vermont State Police, who arrested Barbour for first degree aggravated domestic assault.

This charge stems from her being armed with a deadly weapon and threatening to kill her ex-husband with it. She appeared in Vermont Superior Court in Windham County Tuesday around noon for the charge.
