Chester Police Seeking Person Responsible for TV Theft

Authorities in Vermont are seeking the public’s help in tracking down an individual responsible for theft of a television. Late last week, on officer from the Chester, Vermont police force responded to Green Mountain Union High School at 716 Route 103 South for a report of a theft. Police say that when they arrived, a building coordinator told them that someone had stolen a brand new 65 inch Vizio television that they had purchased for $1000.

The suspect was captured on the school video surveillance network, where he was seen moving the television and removing it from the premises.

The crime occurred at roughly 11:45 PM and the individual had entered the building when the school was closed.
