Kearsarge Athletes Named to Boys Lacrosse All-State Teams

The all-state boys lacrosse line-ups have been announced so today we’ll be showing you highlights of the local players selected from the division three first and second teams.

Kearsarge’s Justin Norris was selected to represent the first team midfielders. This came as no surprise as Norris has been a force for the cougars since he joined the team as a freshmen. He also won the division three offensive player of the year award in 2015.

Norris scored at will all season long and his defense was just as strong as his offense as his speed and athleticism allowed him to command the game on both sides of the field.

Next local selection for the first team was junior defenseman David Benjamin also from Kearsarge. Benjamin was able to shut down opposing offenses with his big frame and quick feet. Turning to the second team, attackman Lucas Muzzey was selected for his scoring skills and stick work.

And defenseman Austin Hogancamp was chosen for his athleticism and ability to turn away opposing goal scorers. Both of these selections again played for the Kearsarge Cougars.
