Kids in Sunapee this past weekend got to live out their fantasies of becoming a police officer as they took part in Jr. Police Officer Day, put on by the Sunapee Police Department and the Abbott Library.
They learned how to solve a crime, how to fingerprint, and got a behind-the-scenes tour of the station. We spoke with Police Chief David Cahill about the event.
Afterwards, the kids got their photos taken in front of a police cruiser dressed in full uniform and also enjoyed a snack and mystery story at the Abbott Library. Sounds like a wonderful day for the Junior Officers and we wish them luck in their pursuit of justice.
