After the Hanover boys hockey team beat host Exeter in their last meeting “in the last second” the coast team traveled to the Campion Rink in Hanover to take on the Marauders to exact a little revenge.
It didn’t look like it was going their way though as Hanover got on the board first with the only goal of the first period by Seth Stadheim with a Jensen Dodge assist. For the rest of the game Hanover peppered the Exeter goalie with 26 shots with 11 in the 3rd period but could not break through again.
Bryson Desjardins was the backstop in goal for the Blue Hawks.
Hanover goalie Gabe Loud stopped 16 shots. YCN asked Exeter Coach Jim Tufts what it means to come to Hanover.
We then asked him on how this game impacts the standings.
Hanover is off now until next Wednesday when they visit Concord.
