Claremont is hoping to get a glimpse of its future through a public forum being held next week. Being held in the Claremont Middle School on Wednesday, March 3rd, a Master Plan Public Forum hopes to gather input from residents and community members on the goals and future for the city.
It’s taking place at 5:30 PM till around 8 and refreshments will be served on top of a light dinner. The Master Plan is used by Departments, Boards, and Commissions as they develop new projects and steer Claremont into the future.
Next Wednesday, the Public Forum will help address issues in town, such as housing, transportation, energy, economic development, and land use, to name a few.
The forum itself will be facilitated by members of the Master Plan Steering Committee and the Upper Valley Lake Sunapee Regional Planning Commission.
RSVPs are appreciated but are not necessary and you can call 603-504-0341 to do so or to get more information.
