The Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice held their annual meeting Thursday.
Outside of the formalities the new President and CEO, Jim Culhane reviewed his first year noting that they made it through the 3 year state inspection “Deficient Free”!
And he mentioned that the Lake Sunapee Region VNA and their volunteers raised over $500,000 in charitable giving to help defray the cost of un-reimbursed services. The highlight of the afternoon was the announcement of the staff member who has a positive impact throughout the agency and selected by his colleagues for the “Imagine the Possibilities Award”.
For 2016 it was given to Scott Ross a Hospice RN. Program wise Jim highlighted a new direction that they are exploring that targets preventative care.
Congratulations to Ross Scott for his award and for the fine work being done by the Lake Sunapee Region VNA and Hospice.
