Monday night, the Hartford Hurricanes boys basketball team was visited by a northern I-91 rival, Lyndon.
The Canes played tough defense to keep themselves in the game early with only a 6 point deficit at Halftime and the score Lyndon 22 to 16. The wheels came off the bus in the third quarter as Lyndon took a 35 to 22 lead.
In the 4th quarter, Hartford made an attempt at coming back, playing better than even, but was ultimately stopped short.
The Canes were lead on offense by by #30 Gavin Farnsworth who had 10 points to pace them and #23 Chris Nulty dropped in seven as Hartford met their match against visiting Lyndon. Lyndon Head Coach Phil Joyal reacted to the visit after the game
Hartford travels to to Mill River Wednesday night.
