A Norwich, Vermont woman was arrested across the river in Lebanon on drug charges. According to a press release, officers from the Lebanon Police Department were conducting a search of a local hotel during a drug investigation Thursday night around 9:30 PM.
During their search, they were led to a particular room where they made contact with two individuals, after which officers obtained a search warrant and executed a search on the room.
As a result of the search, officers arrested 25-year old Jessica Bleeks of Norwich, Vermont. She was found to be in possession of marijuana, cocaine, and over 40 pills of Clonazepam, a drug designed to treat seizures, panic disorder, and anxiety.
Bleeks was charged with two counts of Possession of a Narcotic Drug, both being Class B Felonies, as well as one count of Possession of a Controlled Drug, a Class A Misdemeanor. She is being held the Grafton County House of Corrections on $1,000 bail.
