It was a busy day for Vermont State Police Saturday as troopers seized nearly two pounds of processed marijuana, about $30,000 dollars in cash, and more than a hundred marijuana plants from a Westminster residence.
Police were alerted of the operation by an anonymous call, and once on the scene at the 148 Beechnut Lane home, troopers located evidence of marijuana.
Troopers returned to the home hours later after securing a search warrant, and seized 181 plants, nearly 2 pounds of the drug, and a substantial amount of cash, according to the incident report.
Police also seized cultivation equipment from the residence, and arrested 42-year-old Anthony Bugatch on two felony charges of cultivation and possession of marijuana.
Bugatch was processed and released from the Vermont State Police Rockingham Barracks, and was cited to appear in the Vermont Superior Court Windham County Criminal Division on March 8.
