Police Seeking Suspect in Brattleboro Store Robbery
Local and state authorities in Vermont are looking for person suspected of robbing a Brattleboro store. According to Brattleboro Police, a woman wearing a dark mask robbed the Exit 3 Mobil Station on Putney road Wednesday night around 9:30, who fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
The robber was tracked with a K-9 unit to the north of the gas station, where it was believed that she escaped in a getaway vehicle. The suspect is described as being a heavy-set female, between 20-30 years of age, has blonde hair and blue eyes, and was wearing a brown coat and dark colored mask.
Vermont State Police and the Windham County Sheriff’s Department assisted Brattleboro Police on the scene and no injuries were reported. The investigation is currently ongoing and police are seeking the described suspect.
