A Lebanon, New Hampshire man actively being sought by the city’s police department was captured Monday night in nearby Danbury.
According to a police report, 22-year-old Jeffrey Gray was wanted by police for failing to register as a sex offender – which, in itself, is a Class B Felony.
The man’s last known address was on Mascoma Street in Lebanon, but it was believed he moved to the Grafton area without notifying authorities.
After a short investigation, Gray was located and arrested by officers from both the Danbury and Bristol police departments in regards to the Lebanon warrant, and was transported to the city where he was declined bail and ordered held at the Grafton County House of Corrections.
Gray was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday, while additional charges to accomplices could be pending.
